About Express Score
What this site is
Express Score is a small, independent set of calculators for people navigating Canadian immigration. It exists because the numbers that decide these applications — your CRS score, the cut-off in the round you are aiming at, whether your program qualifies for a work permit — are scattered across long government pages, and most people just want to know where they stand.
Right now it covers three things:
- CRS Score Calculator — your Comprehensive Ranking System score out of 1,200, scored against the current criteria including the removal of job-offer points in March 2025.
- PGWP Eligibility Checker — whether your study program qualifies for a Post-Graduation Work Permit, how long a permit you would likely receive, and which specific requirement blocks you if it does not.
- Express Entry Draw History — every 2026 round of invitations with its date, category, cut-off, and invitation count.
Where the data comes from
Scoring rules and eligibility criteria are transcribed from IRCC's published criteria on canada.ca. Draw results are compiled from IRCC's rounds of invitations page. Every dataset carries a last_verified date, which is shown on the page that uses it, so you can always see how fresh the numbers are. Draw data was last verified on 2026-08-06.
Updates are checked weekly and entered by hand rather than scraped, because a scraper that silently breaks is worse than no scraper at all on a site people use to make decisions.
What it deliberately does not do
It does not submit anything to IRCC, does not store your information, does not offer immigration advice, and is not a substitute for a licensed immigration consultant or lawyer. It also does not model every edge case — the PGWP checker, for example, does not cover flight-school exemptions or the date-specific conditions attached to certain field-of-study codes, and says so on the page.
