Your calculator inputs never reach our servers

Every calculator on Express Score runs entirely in your browser. Your age, education, language scores, work history, study program details, and every other value you enter are processed locally by JavaScript on your own device. They are not transmitted to us, not stored in a database, and not logged anywhere. Express Score is a static site with no backend server and no user accounts.

The one exception is one you trigger yourself: the "copy link" feature encodes your inputs into the URL so you can save or share your result. That URL is only as private as wherever you paste it — if you share it, whoever opens it sees the values you entered.

Data stored on your device

We use your browser's localStorage to remember one thing: whether you chose light or dark mode. It stays on your device and is never sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they read, and which calculators get used. This sets cookies and collects standard information such as your approximate location (country/region level), device and browser type, referring site, and the pages you view. We do not send your calculator inputs to Google Analytics — only the fact that a calculation was run.

You can opt out site-wide using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. The calculators work fine either way.

Advertising

This site is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can control personalised advertising at Google My Ad Center, and review how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Children and sensitive information

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Please do not send us immigration documents, passport numbers, application numbers, or other sensitive personal information — we have no secure channel for handling them and no need for them.

Changes and contact
